Rug Care
KEEP IT FRESH.
Your rug is handmade and built to last — treat it right.
Vacuum Regularly
Use a low-suction vacuum or a handheld brush attachment. Avoid beater bars — they can pull yarn loops.
Spot Clean Only
Blot spills immediately with a clean, damp cloth. Never rub — it spreads the stain. Use mild soap if needed.
No Machine Washing
Never put your rug in a washing machine or dryer. The heat and agitation will damage the backing and yarn.
Avoid Direct Sunlight
Prolonged sun exposure can fade colors over time. Rotate your rug occasionally for even wear.
Use a Rug Pad
A non-slip rug pad protects your floors and keeps the rug in place. It also extends the life of the backing.
Storing Your Rug
Roll (don't fold) your rug for storage. Wrap in breathable fabric — never plastic, which traps moisture.
